If you have never played online or cyber Bingo as it is also called, then you are truly in for a treat the first time you log on. When you play live or traditional Bingo, you probably go to a physical location or Bingo hall to purchase your tickets. Now, if you play cyber Bingo, all you have to do is log into a Bingo website, and go from there. You purchase your tickets through the website, rather than a physical location, which is great for those of us who like to stay at home in our jammies as much as possible!

Why ultralight
backpacks?? Devotees of ultralight backpacking know you reduce your packweight most by concentrating on the “big three;” backpack, shelter, and sleeping bag. Forget those 6-pound backpacks, 9-pound tents and 5-pound sleeping bags. Reduce that 20 pounds to less than 5, keep the other gear to 5 or 6 pounds, and you can chuck the hot and heavy hiking boots, put on the running shoes, and start enjoying those trails.
Four Ounce Ultralight Backpacks
No, that’s not a typo. One of the ultralight backpacking suppliers recently came out with a light pack with a capacity of 1800 cubic inches, plus more in an expandable rear pocket. Designed to carry just fifteen pounds, It may be more fragile than the average pack, but it weighs just 3.7 ounces! With a pack that light you’re well on your way to keeping your total packweight to fifteen pounds.
I bought a six ounce pack at Walmart. Maybe you didn’t know they sold ultralight backpacks, and niether did they. I’m sure it was intended as a daypack. However, it has 1200 cubic inches and weighs only 6 ounces, so I’ll use it for summer overnighters. At $4, it was light on the budget too.
It easy to imagine that a decent-sized backpack can be made at home that weighs less than 8 ounces. If it’s a simple one, without extra pockets, made from light nylon material, how much could it weigh? Making your own may be the way to get the lightest backpack.
Alternatives To Ultralight Backpacks
I’ve used my 8-ounce duffle bag for backpacking. With no pockets, it’s tough to organize things, but it has lots of room, and it is very tough. In practice, the full-length zipper makes it so easy to see everything that organization isn’t very important.
I also have tied the duffle bag to an an old aluminum pack-frame, to create a full-suspension backpack. It has a hip belt, comfortable padded straps, and weighs exactly two pounds. It worked fine on a trip above timberline in the mountains of Montana. If there are any lighter exterior-frame ultralight backpacks out there, I haven’t seen them.
You can also go on overnight trips with just a bivy sack, a bottle of water and a few granola bars in the pockets of your jacket. I’ve done this in the summer. Of course, I suppose without ultralight backpacks, this can’t even be called backpacking.

For many years, psychologists have debated on just how big a factor mental health is in the criminal mind. After all, some of the world’s master criminals aren’t clinically insane and have little in terms of mental disorders. Certainly, there is an abundance of mental health problems in criminals whose crimes are subjected to sensationalism by the media, but there are others. There are criminals out there that are not insane and can easily pass even the most scrutinizing examinations without even the slightest indication of any known or documented mental health disorder. Also, insanity does not automatically make one a criminal and sanity does not automatically make one an innocent bystander. So, with that in mind, what exactly is the relationship between psychology and crime?

With a few simple steps, you can turn your web site into a lead generation machine. Here’s how: Hook – Get your audience interested in what you have to offer. Make it exciting with catchy copy, and compelling graphics. Project professionalism and let you potential customer know how much better off they will be with your product or service.
Direct – Tell your audience what to do. If you tell your audience what to do, and you have created the impression of authority, they are likely to follow your advice. Tell your audience to buy your product or, if it is a service you sell, fill out an information request form.
Form – Use your information request form to grab essential information about your potential client. Use an online form to find out exactly what your potential client wants. Use tracking tools to see where the lead originated form, such as what search engine and keyword, or what web site and ad.
Database – The information from the form should be inserted into a database for easy searching, scheduling and record keeping. Having a good data base system is essential for the next step.
Follow up – Follow up with your potential clients, using your database to schedule events and send marketing material. Stay in front of your clients with an email newsletter, and friendly calls scheduled through out the year. You want your potential client to remember who you are, so when it comes time to make a purchase, they think of your company.
Marketing – Use search engines, advertisements, television, radio, magazines, billboards, word of mouth, web ads, and anything else you can to bring people to your site. If there are no people coming to your site, the best lead generation tools in the world won’t help you get new clients.

Let us take a look at the different types of income. They are:
1. Earned Income
obtained from working for someone or a company.
2. Passive Income
income generated from business.
3. Portfolio Income
income generated from investments in paper assets.
Lets have a closer look:
Earned Income
Earned Income comes from having a job in a company or in someone elses business. You get paid for your time and services rendered. In the previous section, we mentioned that workers work just hard enough not to get fired and employers pay just enough for workers not to quit.
This indicates that the income an employee can generate from working for an employer is limited.
There is the possibility that an employee may devote extra effort thinking the employer will pay him/her more. It is a rare possibility particularly when business is difficult, but possible.
And even if it happens, it is still limited. Whatever additional profit gained by the employer as a result of the employees extra effort, the employer will get the bigger slice of the pie. You are, in effect, making someone else rich through your added effort.
Dont think Im discouraging this. It is a good act. Im just stating a fact. Its likely that you will be telling yourself mentally: Hey, thats not fair. Fair or not, thats the way life is, when you work for money.
If you are an employee, you get your money or paycheck after everything else. It is earned income, less taxes and everything else deductible, before money reaches your hand. And if ever the money reaches your hand, the next place it is bound to go is to pay your bills. If the amount is not enough, you are bound to borrow, which makes you debt-ridden if it accumulates.
Now, this is one big mistake. Dont ever get debt-ridden. It is the quicksand to poverty.
Earned Income is a safe way to generate an income. There is not much thinking to do.
Except for a few high paying, high profile jobs, your work is mostly concentrated on a few things where you keep repeating the same functions. Unconsciously, this discourages creativity, so boredom starts to set in.
It is because of this boredom that getting to work every morning is such a drag and you keep on looking forward to weekends, holidays, and vacations.
Unless you really love what you do without consideration to the income it generates, or unless you are highly paid, or unless there is a lot more to learn in your job, or unless financial security is of no importance to you, there is no reason for you to stay long in the rat race. The earlier it is to get out of the trap, the better chances you will attain financial success.
Passive Income
Passive income is generated from businesses. You can sell products or offer services, or a combination thereof.
Examples are buying/selling real estate, trading merchandise as in wholesaling and retailing, etc. In many cases, you need not be physically present in your place of business. There are also small businesses like vending machines where you hardly require an employee to visit those machines for refill (since you can do it yourself).
You can also go with franchising; either be a franchiser or a franchisee. The list is endless as long as you do what you love to do.
The beauty of going into your own business is that you work for you, not for someone else. You enrich yourself, not someone else. Your time is disciplined but more flexible because you can make your own schedule.
Another advantage of going into business, especially in your own corporation, is that you earn and spend before tax is deducted, unlike being an employee where you are taxed before you spend.
Portfolio Income
Portfolio income, just like passive income, is making money work for you.
Portfolio income is generated from paper assets like bonds, stock market, certificate of deposits, and mutual funds. They are called paper assets because literally, they are businesses that revolve on papers.
It is in portfolio income where financial knowledge is of vital importance. Your intellect interacting with creativity can either unmake or make you rich.
Time for Action to make money work at home!
Now that you know the different types of income, its time to take some action!
Receiving earned income is fine, but your primary aim should be to get passive and portfolio income as much as possible. Utilize earned income to its fullest until you finally reach your goal of earning only passive and portfolio income.

Do you or anyone else you know, expect others to read their mind?
This is a common trait especially with family, spouses and close friends.
You lose all control of your life when you do this. You are leaving probably the most important issues and decisions of your life on the hope that the other person will know what you are thinking and feeling. Then when they don’t or mis-guess, well, then there is hell to pay.
Much of this comes from an underlining feeling of, If you loved me then… (Fill in the dots)
Did you know that this causes you to toss away you power, confidence and the ability to communicate with others.
The challenge with this, is that you are leaving yourself vulnerable to other people’s wishes, beliefs and understandings. And most people misunderstand another without having the added burden of being expected to read minds.
I have seen people get upset and state that their birthday was ruined because the other person, husband, boyfriend, etc., didn’t do what they wanted them to do. When I ask if they told them what they wanted, I get a No, I can’t do that they should have just known.
Well if it is that important, then why don’t you say so? Why are you leaving your happiness to someone else’s guessing?
I have seen this go both ways. Men have come home and said to their wives, where is such and such. Or why didnt you cook.? I left hints this morning.
Think about this, the other person was probably half a sleep and you left hints. Why not just say it. When you don’t speak up, you dont own your mind and you allow others to own it for you.
Sometimes we just hope others will know what we want and other times we may be scared to say what we want.
I was at a workshop and much of it was based in Quantum Physics and practical application. One of the important things was to be very
clear on what we wanted. This one person said a job. So I started asking what kind of job. Then she said research. Well, this too is a huge field. After several more questions, she stated out loud exactly what she wanted and said that it was the first time that she had ever said aloud what she desired in a career.
Many people are like this. They dont want to say and sometimes even admit what they want and just hope that others will figure it out. Or, that it will magically appear. Well, quantum physics teaches that even the universe needs a hand and that you being clear on what you want can help bring it to you.
Quite often, the universe, source energy, God, whatever you wish to call it, is confused by most people’s thoughts. We say we want one thing and then act or think in another manner. If we are sending out confusing and mixed signals, no one is going to know what you want.
It is up to you to first, communicate with yourself, get clear, make that crystal clear with what you want, and then communicate this to the people around you. Most people will be very relieved at not having to guess anymore.
One word of caution, if you are not used to speaking up, there is a good chance some people may try to stop you at first. They have gotten used to having things their way and even if they said it was annoying with you not speaking up, they would rather keep the control.
That way if they do what they want, they can fall back on the, well I had to guess what you wanted.
Over all though, when you take back your power and life, you will find yourself being a much happier, confident and self-empowered person.

It used to be taboo for movie stars to do advertising for products in the United States. We never used to see our favorite movie star in commercials for Frosted Flakes. Catherine Zeta Jones recently broke this unspoken rule by appearing in a series of T-Mobile advertisements. While it is anyone prerogative on how they want to make money, I can understand why movie stars try to avoid getting involved in advertising for products or services. Charity advertising is one thing. Many movie stars do commercials and public service announcements for charities. However, hawking products for Madison Avenue might not be a good idea for movie stars. It can be difficult to play a serious cop role in your newest movie when you are known as the peanut butter guy from television. In short, movie stars and advertising just do not mix.

Parents have a natural desire to help their student offspring to reach their full potential, especially at Leaving Cert.
Many parents choose to pay for tuition for their sons and daughters for a range of excellent reasons.
Classes in many schools and colleges are much larger than the ideal. It is very difficult for many students to reach their maximum potential in a class of 20-35. There may be a conflict between an individual students and a teacher, or perhaps help is only needed in a few areas.
Parents have a choice between two types of private tuition, Group Tuition and Individual Tuition.
All the private colleges in the larger towns and cities run grinds classes. The teaching may be good, but you will be paying upwards of 15 euro for an hour in a group of 20-30 students. Nice money for the teacher, especially as most don’t tell the Revenue about it either! These group classes are not the best way to help a student to achieve a top Leaving Cert grade.
Individual Tuition is of much more use than Group Tuition. Your son or daughter will have one to one lessons with a teacher of your choice. Lessons are usually in the tutor’s home and last for about one hour. Expect to pay over 20 euro for Individual Tuition
Some subjects, such as Chemistry, Physics, Maths, French and Irish are in high demand and tutors for these subjects are difficult to find in other ways.
A good tutor will be a skilled teacher who can communicate effectively with your son or daughter. He or she will know all the requirements of the Leaving Cert course, and, ideally will be a Department Corrector of those papers. Practice exams should be given to the student closer to the end of the course.

Automotive detailing can be one of the most important jobs at vehicle dealerships or detailing shops. Whether a detailer is preparing the vehicle for a sales display or getting it ready for its new owner, it’s sometimes that first impression of the vehicle that makes automotive detailing so significant.
Good automotive detailers will know the areas on vehicles that a bad detailer can miss. Areas such as door jams, window seals, and engine cleaning are signs that you got a good detail job. Trade-in vehicles that need to be detailed are perhaps the most important as a good detail can affect its retail value. No one wants to buy a used vehicle, no matter what the performance quality, if it hasn’t been detailed properly.
Soiled upholstery and carpet stains can also prevent resale value but using the right products can show a drastic improvement if done correctly. Tobacco or smoking in a vehicle are no longer challenges for the good automotive detailer. Various manufacturers are now producing machines such as Ionizers that when placed in a vehicle for a small period of time can take out the effects of smoking smells.
Automotive detailing products are important. Products or mitts that can scratch, wear out the paint, or dull chrome should not be used and a good automotive detailer will know which products to avoid.
Automotive detailing product salespeople who promote their products and claim they are the best visit many dealerships. Beyond what products auto detailers are using, a customer should look at the detail shop or detail area. Is it clean? Are the products organized, or are the detailers running back and forth, sharing products, or worse, leaving the detail area looking for their equipment? Check them out for cleanliness and accessibility of the automotive detailing items they use-are they nearby?
A good automotive detailer will use tools such as small brushes with soft bristles for vent cleaning. Detailing tools that have small rubber tips are good for cleaning dirt out of seams and trim. Wheel and tire brushes are also a must. Some products such as mitts and brushes are now being offered by the manufacturers with color-coding. This color-coding helps the detailer identify which is the best tool for the process in a quick and easy manner. Bottles of cleaners should also be color-coded for automotive detailing use. Grabbing the wrong solution can be detrimental to the detailer if he is in a hurry. The color-coding process has eliminated the mistakes sometimes made in the automotive detailing business.
Some automotive detailing shops even offer services that will check your wiper blades and other viewable parts that can easily be replaced by a detailer at a lower cost than a mechanic or technician.
A big job for the automotive detailer is new vehicle preparation. If a dealer sells new vehicles, as they are shipped in, they are inevitably full of dust, debris and, road wear from the shipping process. Not only is the automotive detailer responsible for cleaning the new vehicle, most car dealerships will provide them with a checklist of other items to check for operation. The checklist can include items such as setting the clock and radio, testing the key fobs to see if they are working correctly, removing the new vehicle plastic and stickers, and, taking the vehicle on a small test drive to check wipers, air-conditioning and, other essential elements.
Probably the last thing a good automotive detailer can offer is the trip to the gas pump to fill your vehicle up with a full tank. If your detailing company or dealership offers this, it may save you dollars. Many dealerships receive gasoline discounts and are happy to pass them along to the customer to keep them coming back, so check that out when you visit your automotive detailer or dealership.
Automotive detailing takes a lot if care. People who work in this area should be the kind of people who love the detailing process and the outcomes they achieve. They are people who have high levels of energy and communication skills to ensure the customer is getting what they want. If chosen right, the good automotive detailer can make all the difference in that new, used, or customer vehicle. Good automotive detailers will keep customers coming back to any shop and are sometimes overlooked for the talents they possess.

A flat panel television is a lightweight television set that hangs from the wall or ceiling and only three or four inches thick. The most usual flat panel televisions are either plasma or LCD’s, which stands for liquid crystal display.
These flat panel televisions are all the rage because of not only the size but also elegance and performance. This innovative technology dominates the television market and they are now more affordable as the prices have decreased. As with any new technology, there are a few disadvantages but certainly far more advantages when it comes to flat panel televisions.
The most obvious advantage of purchasing a flat panel television is its weight and size. One person can not only carry it easily but also hang it up like a picture. You can carry it from room to room, place it almost anywhere instead of having to purchase a television stand or entertainment centre to house the old type televisions.
Behind direct view televisions, plasma flat panel televisions have an outstanding picture and the LCD’s are extremely close. When it comes to satellite programming and displaying cable, LCD’s sometimes lack a little.
The selection of flat panel televisions is almost limitless with a huge selection of sizes. Plasma flat panel televisions start at 42 inches so models smaller than that are LCD’s. Unlike plasma televisions, manufacturers designed LCD flat panel televisions to combine and interact with your PC while still operating as a television. Never use your plasma television to display video games or as a computer monitor as burn-in could be a problem.
Both plasma and LCD flat panel televisions have a great life expectancy of over fifteen years and unlike rear projection televisions, they have no lamp to replace so are more cost efficient.
Shop wisely and enjoy the new flat panel televisions of your dreams.

A core aspect of guitar practice is goal setting.
To put it bluntly you must set goals!
Let me explain why this is so important. Hopefully my explanation will show you just how important, and incredibly powerful, this technique is if you want to be constantly improving as a guitar player.
If you set goals you give your sub-conscious mind something clear to focus on.
When you write down your goal, and commit to doing it, you have set something in motion. By writing it down, youre making it much more likely to happen.
So, you must set some goals and write them down.
I know this may sound unimportant to you at the moment, especially if you have never used this technique before.
But trust me on thisBefore I set goals to work on in my practice I was highly frustrated with the lack of results I was getting.
Goal setting keeps you focused and makes you get what you want from your practice.
Also, if you dont set goals, you dont have anything clear to measure how well youve progressed. This can mean that you dont progress much at all, or you dont notice your progress.
This can lead to lack of desire to play guitar and lack of desire is a 100% guaranteed route to failure.
Thats not what you want, is it?
So, in summary:
You must cover each of these points:
Your must set long-term and short-term goals.
You must read & review your goals before you practice.
You must focus on completing these goals while youre practicing.
When you finish practicing, review your goals and tick off the goals you have completed.
If you miss a goal, dont worry! Review the goal and decide if it was realistic enough. If it wasnt realistic, change it until it is. If you still feel it is realistic, leave it there and work on it next time.
It helps to make your goal time limited. (E.g. Within 30 days) This will help keep you focused and accountable.

Protecting yourself from scams is becoming increasingly harder since credit theft is on the rise in the nation. Thieves steal more than your possessions. They now steal your identity, credit cards, checks and more.
When you deposit a check in your checking account, the bank makes the funds available in two to five days. Does this mean you are really safe?? No, not necessarily. Federal rules require the banks to release the funds to you in that time frame. Yet, it can take weeks before the bank actually discovers if the check is fraudulent. Most consumers believe the phrase the check has cleared means it is not fraudulent.
Should the check turn out to be fraudulent, the depositor is responsible for the money. You have probably received a notice from your bank called a Fraud Alert. This statement tells you that you are the responsible party and provides you some information. Since you deal with the person who gave you the money, you are in the best position to determine if it is risky.
You could find that you must repay the bank for bad checks. This can obviously cause financial problems, stress and, if you are not in a good position, could cause you to have credit issues.
Steps you can take to protection yourself:
1.Dont accept a check for more than it should be. Question this practice.
2.Is the account in the name of the buyer who is paying you?
3.Dont agree to pay money to others in foreign countries for deposits you accept here.
4.Play it safe.
Use your good judgment to protect yourself. If there is any doubt in your mind, dont proceed. As the advice of a qualified professional before you get involved. Using care will help you avoid future problems.

How do you find people for free?? To avoid hiring a private investigator, learn how to do your own investigating. Here are a couple techniques to get you started.
People are creatures of habit. Even when they are willing to give up their names, and move far away, they rarely are willing to change who they are. A bowler will still want to bowl. If you suspected which city he may have moved to, you could call bowling alleys there to get information on new league members. If I moved and changed my name, you could find me where people gather to play chess. Think of all their habits, and how these might predict their behavior and location.
Most of the time, though, people you try to find aren’t really trying to hide. At least, they aren’t trying very hard. Maybe they have left town and keep their phone number unlisted, but they probably haven’t changed their name. How do you find them quickly? Here are some techniques.
Find People For Free With Skip Tracing Techniques
“Skip tracing” is tracking down people who have “skipped” out of town, or otherwise disappeared. This was the part of my job that I enjoyed when I was a bill collector years ago. It is much easier today with the use of the internet, but the principles remain the same.
The basic things you start with are things like sending mail to any addresses you have and calling any phone numbers you have for the person. When you send a letter, you pay a little extra for “address correction.” The post office will return a card to you with any forwarding address they have on file for the subject.
When you call their phone number(s), if you get an answer, you of course want to ask for the subject. If they have moved, you want to get any information you can from the person on the line. Use basic phone pretexts for this.
Find People With Phone Pretexts
These are useful stories. They can be as simple as “Hi, this is Dave. I’m an old friend of John’s. Do you know where I can find him?” Be prepared, of course for a question or two, like. “Where do you know John from?”
More complicated pretexts might involve a temptation like, “I have a rebate check for $50 on a car stereo here that John never claimed. Do you have his address, so I can just drop it in the mail today?” If they refuse or claim they don’t know where he is, give them your number and ask if they could give it to John if they talk to him.
Get any information you can while you have a person on the phone. They may refuse to give you an address or phone number, but then mention the city that the subject has moved to. Ask them who else might help you, and call those people. Using the phone is the easiest and fastest ways to find people for free.

Choosing a diamond is an extremely personal decision. The most important part of choosing a diamond is to choose one that appeals to you personally. The first rule when choosing a diamond is to make sure it is accompanied by a grading report. Choosing a diamond is as important as learning how to buy a diamond. While choosing a diamond you should consider these factors shape, cut and clarity. Remember that choosing a diamond is not an exact science. For most people, the most important consideration when choosing a diamond is price. True, choosing a diamond is all up to the buyer’s taste, but an experts opinion definitely counts. The hardest part in choosing a diamond is not what you thought, its only over when you find someone special enough to present one to. Step one in choosing a diamond is learning about them, it costs nothing, but could end up saving you a bundle. Choosing a diamond is one of the most important decisions of your life.

I’ve been in law enforcement for 17 years and have a great deal of experience working in the street and dealing with the common problems and crimes of the average person. This article addresses the common crimes that.are occuring to people when removed from their homes. This is to make you aware of them and how to reduce your chances of becoming a victim.
Unattended Property
Many people in the city become a victim to this crime. This mainly happens when someone is in a public place and puts down their wallet, purses, etc., doesn’t pay attention, and then someone picks it up when noone is watching. Popular places for this crime to occur are coffeshops, bars, supermarkets,
gyms, churches, schools, your place of business, just about any public place. To help avoid this happening to you follow these guidelines. Never leave anything down by itself, even where you work! It’s as simple as that. If you do have to put something down make sure that you or someone that you are with keeps a close eye on it. If a criminal is trying to take it odds are he won’t if he/she sees someone paying attention. These criminals want to steal your property and walk away when noone is watching, they don’t want to be seen or chased. Do not leave items of value in your car, especially your wallet
when playing sports or when you are at the beach.
Pickpocket
Otherwise known as a Grand Larceny in the Penal Law. This usually occurs when someone removes something from someone else’s pocket, bag or purse. Famous places for this to occur are subways, buses, bus stops, bars, stores, crowded sidewalks. It can happen in just about any busy, noisy, crowded place.Follow these suggestions so they don’t get you. For women always carry your pocketbook towards the front. When carried on the back or side you cannot see when someone is trying to reach in. For the men always carry your wallet in your front pocket instead of your back pocket or in a jacket pocket. For those of you who are tired or had too much to drink and are traveling on public transportation, don’t fall asleep! Falling asleep makes it much easier and the criminals will even cut your pocket open to get out that wallet, it happens all the time on the subway. In addition to the above
just be aware of what is going on around you, criminals will strike when someone is not paying attention.
Snatches
More famously known to the public as a purse or chain snatch. There are many new snatches out there today. The criminal will take just about anything from you. These include cell phones, money, ipods, metro cards from the subway. Many times these criminals are on bicyles for a fast snatch
and getaway.Right now cell phones seem to be the most popular. The best way to avoid this from happening to you is not to carry those cellphones, ipods, money and cards in your hand. When not using these items put them away in a safe place. When you have to keep them out, such as when talking
on your cellphone, be aware of your surroundings. Place yourself in a position where it would be hard for someone to run or walk by you and hold onto them tightly when someone is near. As with all the other crimes listed here, pay attention to your surroundings.
Robberies
A Robbery is when someone takes property of another by using force. That force can be physical or just the threat of force. I save this for last because all the crimes discussed above can easily become Robberies. If the purse snatch is done with force, it’s a Robbery. Many times a criminal will use
force to steal that money, cell phone, ipod, etc., instead of just snatching it. So if you follow all the guidelines above for unattended property, snatches, pickpockets you will automatically reduce your chances of getting robbed. When driving in your car make sure you keep your doors locked to prevent someone entering. Leave plenty of space between you and the car in front of you so you can move forward and around if necessary when approached by someone. If you live in an apartment building never enter the building with someone you’ve never seen before. If you see a stranger in the lobby or
hallway after entering turn around and leave. Use extreme caution and make sure noone is following you when you have just come from the following places: cash checking, banks or any place where you displayed some money.
Follow these safety guidelines and you will definitely reduce your chances of becoming a victim. If a criminal approaches you and tries to commit any of these crimes, it is important to remember not to resist. Your life is more important than your property. Property can always be replaced but not you.
Stay safe!

Traveling for business or vacationing always has one thing in common; you need a place to stay. Unfortunately, many individuals choose large hotel chains which have no personality and do nothing more than provide a place to sleep for their guests. However, when business and vacation travelers choose to stay at a Bed and Breakfast they are able to enjoy their trip even more simply because Bed and Breakfast inns focus on each individual guest. In fact, there are several benefits a Bed and Breakfast has over regular hotels.
Benefit #1 Feel at Home
Most Bed and Breakfast Inns are typically small and have a limited number of rooms to rent out. However, each room has a lot of personality and is generally decorated around a theme and focuses on the comfort of guests. Each room is decorated in an elegant at-home way that is easily enjoyed by guests who want comfortable and beautiful surroundings to enjoy while on their trip. You certainly won’t encounter the generic rooms of common hotels. All in all, when you stay at a Bed and Breakfast you will feel at home.
Benefit #2 Great Food
As the name suggests the daily rate of a Bed and Breakfast stay will certainly include the first meal of the day. While a Continental breakfast is frequently included in chain hotel rates the breakfast at a Bed and Breakfast is always of a significantly higher quality. This is because innkeepers take pride in serving well balanced and tasty meals allowing guests to enjoy every aspect of their stay. Although every Bed and Breakfast is different you can generally expect a full breakfast of meat and eggs with fresh baked muffins, fresh squeezed juice and fruit. Usually breakfast is served on fine china with silver cutlery, much higher class than disposable plates and cutlery at low priced hotel chains.
Benefit #3 More Economical
You are probably thinking, “yeah, right!” But the truth is Bed and Breakfast Inns really are more economical when you consider the entire price of the stay. For example, a Bed and Breakfast may charge what seems like expensive nightly fees, but everything is basically included from local phone calls to movies, and concierge services to parking. Just these extras at a hotel can add $100 or more to your daily bill. So, in the overall scheme of things a Bed and Breakfast will probably save you money and you will be more comfortable and relaxed at the same time.

Recent research by the Rubber Manufacturers Association tells us that more people wash their cars each month than properly check their tire pressure. But a clean car is not going to do much to keep us safe on the roads. Adding a few minutes to you. fall car care routine to check your tires will help keep you safer this season. Here are some simple tips:
* Examine the tread on your tires once per month and before every long trip. Your tires should have at least one-sixteenth of an inch of tread depth, which is the legal limit in most states. Perform the “penny test” by inserting a penny in the tread at several points on the tire, with Lincoln’s head pointed down. If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, the tread is worn and the tire probably needs to be replaced.
* Take a good look at your tires. Uneven tread wear could mean a number of different problems: under- or overinflation, tires out of balance or wheels out of alignment. If your tread appears to be wearing unevenly, ask your TiresPlus service professional to take a look.
* Don’t neglect the signals your tires are sending you. Tires have “wear bars” built into them. These indicators appear when you have worn your tread down to one-sixteenth of an inch.
* Rotate your tires according to the vehicle owner’s manual. The forces exerted on tires differ depending on the tire’s position on the car, which may cause uneven tire wear. Front wheels work harder because they do the turning and most of the braking. And rear wheels can be unevenly loaded.
* Check your air pressure with an accurate tire gauge at least once a month and always when cool – meaning the car has been driven less than one mile or has not moved in at least three hours. Tires can lose up to 1 pound per square inch per month, and tire pressure can change by 1 pound per square inch for every 10 degrees change in ambient temperature.
The next time you head to the car wash, take a few minutes to check your tires so you can cruise the roads knowing your vehicle is clean and, more importantly, safer for any season.

Everyone’s wearing vintage style from the girl on the high street to A list celebrities. Even high street shops are now following suit with their own ranges of vintage inspired clothes. But why is vintage clothing so popular and how can you get the vintage look?
Vintage clothing is described by Trudie Bamford, author of Viva Vintage (Carroll & Brown) as clothing made between 1920 and 1970. Anything before 1920 is antique and anything after is retro. Although many people use vintage as a term to describe clothes that are not brand new. The popularity of vintage clothing is currently huge with large numbers of people owning at least a few items of vintage clothing and some people only ever wearing vintage clothes. Celebrities have fueled the popularity of vintage by wearing vintage designer clothes like Julia Roberts in her Vintage Valentino gown, worn for the Oscars in 2001. In the High Street Oasis and Next have also created there own vintage inspired clothing with similar styles and colors as clothing from various different eras of fashion.
The popularity of vintage clothing is probably due to three factors. The individuality of vintage pieces is a real attraction to many people. The range of clothing on the high street almost always follows the seasons trends. You are much less likely to see someone wearing the same or a similar outfit if you wear vintage clothing. Many will use one key piece of vintage clothing or an accessory to give an outfit bought on the high street an individual twist. Vintage clothing has also proved popular as many love the beautiful , delicate and detailed ladylike styles that can be found when buying vintage clothing. Many vintage clothes lovers have a keen interest in the history of fashion and finding vintage clothing is an interesting hobby.
Key looks such as 1940′s Dior New Look frequently inspire designer and high street main stream collections and those who wear vintage clothing have the benefit of wearing the ‘real thing’. Finally the beauty of vintage clothing is often in the quality of the garment. The vintage clothing that has stood the test of time and has managed to remain in a reasonable and wearable condition will usually be of a superior quality to many clothes mass produced in the present day. Clothing made before 1960 is probably handmade and quality natural materials such as silk and wool were used as man made and synthetic materials were not available. Styles and trends of clothing did not change as frequently as it does today so clothes were made to last.
Buying vintage clothes can be a time consuming business. Finding the right item takes time. There are many shops specializing in vintage clothes, charity shops and flea markets are also good hunting grounds. The internet provides an excellent resource for finding vintage clothes. eBay is treasure trove for vintage clothes and you can often get a real bargain if you look hard enough. There are also many online vintage shops which make it easier to find the item you are looking for but are likely to charge a bit more for the privilege.
A word of warning, there are some key pitfalls to watch out for when buying vintage clothing. Do not automatically trust the sellers description of the item. Check for indicators of the age of the items such as metal zippers and buttons instead of plastic on pre-1950′s clothes, any clothing with a care instruction label will be post 1970′s. When buying designer vintage you will need to do your research to ensure that the item you are purchasing is genuine. It also important to consider the quality of any vintage clothing that you would like to buy. When buying online you will not be able to assess the quality so should ask key questions to make sure you are happy with your buy. Due to the very nature of vintage clothing, it will be in varying conditions. Wear and tear can range from the easily solved tear along a seam or small moth hole to less desirable underarm perspiration stains.
Finally sizing can present a problem when buying vintage clothes. Sizes have changed quite a lot over the years and a size 12 item from the 1950′s may be the equivalent of a side 6 or 8 now. It is also possible that clothing can have shrunk in the wash making it even smaller than expected. If unable to try the item on use a tape measure to measure yourself and ask the seller to do the same with the clothes.
When you manage to find the beautiful vintage item that you really love, look after it well. Check the type of material and find out how it should be cleaned. If in doubt take it to a professional dry cleaner. Store carefully using acid free tissue paper for very delicate items and moth balls/ cedar wood for wool.
